Compendium of design projects by Marcus Lepie for the client Frank Alexander Engel. Frank Alexander Engel was born in Pasewalk in 1965 and grew up in Rostock. From 1990 to 1994, he studied puppetry at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. During his studies, F.A.Engel made guest appearances at the Berlin State Opera. His first engagement as a puppeteer took him to the Südthüringisches Staatstheater Meiningen, the Thalia Theater Halle, later to the Theater Junge Generation Dresden and as in-house director at the Puppentheater der Stadt Magdeburg. He has been working as a freelance director and set designer since 2011 and teaches at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts.
